How is Zoomies different from traditional dog daycare?

01 — Small group sizes

Our play dates are not only intentionally smaller (3-4 dogs per group), they are catered to your dogs specific play styles and social needs. This means our groups are safer and much more fun, as your dog will have friends that understand them! Zoomies is the best way to find your dogs pack.

02 — Personal attention and focus on beneficial social interactions

With smaller groups and a cohesive play style, our staff is able to pay special attention to your dog. We will be able to pick up on changes in behavior, places for improvements in social skill, and even notice if a training command needs some more work.

03 — Training reinforcement

If you already have a training routine, Zoomies is well equipped to keep that routine consistent, even with play! In fact, practicing commands during play is a vital component to our process. By reinforcing commands in a higher distraction environment like a play group (only after the command is first learned in a low distraction environment, of course!) we are able to improve their reliability.

04 — Knowledge and experience

We’ve been doing this for a long time, so we know the ins and outs of socialization quite well. That being said, we are always learning and changing with dogs, as they are living creatures who are also learning and changing. The best part about our furry friends is that they are never exactly the same, so every dog we meet gives us the opportunity to learn more! Our knowledge and experience allows us better access to address those opportunities to empower your dog to be the best pup we know they can be!

“A dog can never tell you what she knows from the smells of the world, but you know, watching her, that you know almost nothing.”

“It is my personal mission to help everyone understand dogs better. I believe that people could easily find their own way to the right solutions for their family if they just knew what their dog was saying! No two dogs are the same, and language is fluid, so therefore no single solution exists. With deep understanding of basic body language and compassion, dog owners can better navigate life’s obstacles. It is my hope that this leads to less needless incidents, anxiety, and surrenders.”
